Some ‘Ahadeeth’ on segregation

 

“When a women applies perfume and passes by gathering of men, she is like this and this (i.e. like an adulteress).”

“The gaze (at ghair mahrams: those to whom marriage is permissible) is a poisonous arrow among the arrows of Satan. He who restrains it (his straying gaze) for my fear, I shall exchange it for such solid Imaan (faith), the sweetness of which he will experience in his own heart.”

“A ‘Dayyooth’ will not enter Jannat” The Sahabah asked: “Who is a ‘Dayyooth’, the Prophet (Peace be upon him) replied, “ A man who does not care who (i.e. men) visits his wife.”

“ Every eye is a fornicator.”

“ The fornification of the hand is to touch (a ghair mahram).”

“ It is better than a steel rod being plunged into your head then you touch a women who is not lawful for you.

“ When a man is alone with a woman, the third one present is Satan.”

“Beware of visiting woman (Who are unlawful to you).”

“ Woman should not speak with men, except with a ‘maharam’ (to whom marriage is not permissible).”

“It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the last day to allow anyone entry in her husbands home except with his permission. She should not go out of the house against his wishes. Nor should she obey anyone in this regard.”

“Woman may not emerge (From the home) except when compelled to (by circumstances).”
