Eid Congregation

 

After the Eid congregation, people hug and shake hands with each other. Is this act Sunnah?

It is not Sunnah. It is only a custom adopted by people. To consider it an act of Deen and to reproach and condemn those who do not do it is Bid’ah. (Innovation)
