Mocking Islam…. DON’T

 

Many people nowadays jest or mock at certain practices of Islam. Similarly, others consider certain religious affairs lightly or of little significance. Can you please comment on this important issue.

To jest or mock at any matter, belief, concept or teaching of Islam is disbelief. In the same way it is disbelief to consider any Islamic affair lightly or of little significance even if the matter is desirable. These two are very dangerous attitudes which, corrupt and eliminate faith. Every teaching, belief and practices of Islam are linked with Allah. Hence, Islam and its beliefs and practices are all objects of respect and honour. In our times, many Muslims are affected by the western culture and the system of education and their questions, jeer, mock and jest at the beliefs and teachings of Islam. They discard many practices in an attitude of considering insignificance. In this way they invite the displeasure if Allah and deprive themselves of faith. They annihilate their salvation of the hereafter. It is, Therefore, of utmost importance to respect and honour all the teachings of Islam whether Fardh or desirable.
